"It's really hard to write a personal story," he says. "Rage is not a thematic yet, it's a bucket." The film follows the life of one boy as he learns how to be a man and deals with his stepfather. It feels like if you're escaping into superhero-ness and into fantasies of maleness, that's rich territory.
