Is There a Risk of Reducing the Power of VS Code?

I hope I would love obsidian to become closer to mainstream. And I think that would be a good way of starting, of having that filtering,. Having that functionality of actually like, here is what it, because when I down it to the US code, I was like, Oh, what plugins? So I wouldn't add that feature. But if there is less of a, I suppose if you don't limit it, because from what I understand, you can put any plugin on VS code and create your own plugin and it's there. It's just VS code has some moderation of plugins used.
