Is There an Absolute Transformation in Your HRV?

There is an absolute transformation over time. When I first started doing this type of breathing, this hyper cap neck butteco style breathing or I'll say oxygen advantage protocol, I saw that my HRV would just go down significantly during the practice. But here's the kicker: 15, 20, 30 minutes after practice, my numbers started to go way up. And that's why I said, okay, there's something to this so transiently, this works as a stressor. But in the longer term, this actually is helping to build back resilience. This is an exercise for my nervous system. Just like I would hit the gym, I'm hitting the gym for his nervous system
