Both parties in the House agree that some sort of legislation to create safety and soundness around stablecoins is a good thing. I think they disagree on how exactly to do that, but it's hard to move something forward until they solve that issue. Unfortunately, even if they move it forward, I don't think the Senate wants to do anything with it currently.
