Cynthia Veal's Abduction

Cynthia Veal was abducted while walking to a restaurant in Albuquerque, New Mexico on March 20, 1999. A mail acquaintance pointed out a motorhome that was parked nearby and explained a man in sight was interested in her services. As Cynthia approached the Toyota motorhome, she glimpsed at the mail driver sitting behind the wheel. He told her he was an undercover police officer and that she was under arrest for soliciting. The pair were forced to handcuff her to a pipe before they took off from the parking lot. She managed to free herself by twisting loose screws inside the pipe until it gave way.
