He says he believes corrections officials are trying to get revenge for the newspaper publication of his infamous diary. He spends nearly all his day in a small, poorly maintained cell without a fan to cool him on hot summer days. His hair and apra prison jump suit are constantly saturated with sweat because of the heat. A witness who testified against him made a deal with the pro-cution team that would allow them to set an execution date.
