Liver will take fatty acids, turn them into ketone bodies. Ketones can cross the blood brain barrier to create energy and glucose. Problem with that is when you create ketones, you create acid at the same time. That's why it's called ketoacidosis for diabetics. How do we stop that from happening? Insulin, baby. Once they've got insulin, they can bring that glucose into the cells. And give them some glucose too, because they may be starving themselves at glucose. All right. Now, in addition to that, before we start to move on, I think we should start talking about the cerebrum, the brain itself. Right
