The Importance of Takahashi Korkio in the Cold War

The first person that you write about in the book is former Japanese finance minister, Takahashi Korkio. He was an interesting man and someone still looked up to in Japan, but not really now outside. Windoffin became a sort of indentured labor in the States, but came back with no formal economic training. And he managed to raise very successfully a very large amount of money that allowed the Japanese Navy to basically beat the Russian Navy.
