The first poem we've chosen to read from the archive is The Wind Blows Through the Doors of My Heart by Deborah Diggs. Said Jones' work has received the Kirkus Prize for Nonfiction, the Penn Joyce Osterweil Award for Poetry, and a Stonewall Book Award. "I think sometimes it feels like grief is the only thing many of us feel we have in common with our fellow citizens," he says.
