The study was done on a smaller scale at Oregon State University. The differences in terms of percent weight, weight were less than 0.1% in terms of alpha acid. If the hop material has 66% less alpha acids, you're going to have to use more of the spent hop slurry in order to get the same Alpha Acid level as normal pellets.
