How Do Wolfes Howl?

For wolves a howl is just one of their many ways of communicating with each other. Howls are great because wolves can hear howls up to ten miles away over open terrain. So scientists have found that with wolves howling can be kind of like the social glue of a family and so you can think about it as if you're sitting at the table with your family, everyone's sharing what they did at school or at work. It makes you feel more connected as a family because you know what's going on. With wolves howling could achieve that same thing because families can sing together and it's a good way to strengthen those bonds.
