How Did the Volcanic Eruption Shook the Ionosphere?

NASA's ionosphere connection explorer or icon satellite passed within about 4,000 kilometers of Tonga. It measures both the winds in the neutral atmosphere and it can also measure what the plasma in the ionosphere is doing. And we saw a massive change compared to what is usual in this region. The energy sort of reached up and it sort of shook the ionosphere.
