The DSR and the Taiwan Debate
The DSR is really powerful because it says look Australia may not be the size of the US or even Japan but it can contribute to shaping the environment and to deterrence. And that doesn't come out in the Taiwan debate so your homework assignment Pete, when we're done are you going to start looking at the debate about shaping Taiwan scenarios? I think if you want to shape us an environment around Taiwan, you need to understand what's happening in Taipei where the templates are coming about coming from on things. So that's just my little winching moment. Oh no, I agree with you Mark I think there's too much of the debate in Australia about Taiwan that actually doesn't involve Taiwan
