Introduction
Michael Johnston: Robin Barcham is a professor of sociology at Tuan University. She says she was interested in disparities in housing that were evident across different neighborhoods and parts of the city. During her research, we visited four closed homes on Chicago's northwest side. The decisions inspectors make have real ramifications because they'll have the weight of the city behind them,. Johnston: One inspection I destroyed in my eyes is the evidence of bed bugs.
