This is not a new problem. How far back does it date and and how long have we been trying to get a handle on this? Well, a while, i think. When i spoke to linda silas, the president of the canadian federation of nerses unions, she told me she started working on a campaign in the early nineties. And, i mean, it's an issue that has just sort of been dealt with, that's been sort of the burden of health care workers who are largely female.
