Sleep is one of these fascinating, naughty problems. It's really hard to give hyper specific recommendations that you should get 7.34 hours of sleep a night. You can't do the gold standard clinical experiment called a randomized trial. While you're asleep, your body uses the opportunity to clear out junk from your brain. So I think knowing that there is an optimal length of sleep and not too short is important.
