The Catholic Church's Principled Reflection on Egoism
The categories of cooperation and evil have been very carefully thought through by the church. The question becomes basically, am I making too strong a causal contribution to the evil that somebody else is doing? And if you're making a weak causal contribution, so something you're doing is not essential. That gives a nice specific case of how we're entangled in cooperation with evil in the sense.
