Is There a Phenomenon?
Hegel: We don't have any access to the thing in itself, because it's always just appearances. The word appearance signals to us that there is that true thing behind it. If one designates these three different things as appearance, bewilderment is unavoidable. And so does he then this definition, the real definition phenomenon? Does that defeat kantinism?
