How to Make a Short Film

I feel like, and maybe it's too far, but my dad was a dentist. And so therefore I can work on your teeth or someone's a landscape gardener. Sure, I might be all right at it. But I'm like, gee, you're jumping into a fire without any fireproof clothing on. By doing a short or even a promo or a bar mitzvah video for God's sake, you learn about camera, technique, angles. If you've not done that, well, you don't have to work with actors. Every lens tells a story. Why are you moving the camera? Why are you not? It's madness in some way.
