The Evolution of the CRISPR Cas9 System
CRISPR is a system that's highly amenable to modification. One of the fun things about things that came out of natural selection is that it seems like they were evolved to be a Volvo. And I mind I have this vision of this whole, you know, toolbox that's all built around this RNA or fundamentally this RNA guided mechanism adds all kinds of interesting different chemical activities which allow these types of manipulation and genomes.
