A number of states have passed laws that require people to sign away their right to support a boycott. "It is kind of funny that they're not calling for boycotting all these other countries where the human rights abuses are just as bad or way worse," she says about those who back BDS. The fight over what it means to be pro-BDS seems shakier now than before, but there's still plenty of firepower going into the policing.
