The United States and China's Tech Ascension
The United States is trying to undermine China's tech ascendancy for national security reasons, but also for capitalist competition reasons that allow us to profit. One of the key ways that this has been done has been focusing on semiconductor chips. We need to make AI development costly, we need to figure out a way to profit from Beijing's attempts to become independent if that means offering them the thing they need or feeling in the vacuum that they leave behind as we cleave allies and foreign companies from using their products.
