Why You Don't Want to Colonize Mars

In the state of California, one part per billion is considered toxic waste. On the surface of Mars, it's six million parts per billion. So you haven't been clean up. Not healthy. You've got to be clean up. And if we're trying to determine whether there's indigenous life on Mars, that's going to completely throw that out the window if we start spreading microbes everywhere. planetary geologists really want a fair chance to try to determine whether life in the universe is common or rare. That's just one of the many reasons you don't want to go to colonize Mars.
