Informed consent is more like informed protection. What we're really looking for here are defaults that have our best interest at heart, like a parent or a teacher. They would need to protect the holistic picture of values that we care about. So instead of putting the burden on the user to read a 50 page service agreement, we want values that automatically protect the best interest.
