How LP Commitments Work to Venture Capital Funds

The reality is that a lot of those groups are hurting now, right? They've lost a lot of money over the last kind of call 18 months like most folks have. And they're hurting a little bit. Some might even be distressed. What we want to do is be good partners to our LPs and say, how are you guys doing? How are you thinking about your cash flows and your capital allocation? We will then go call 10% of everyone's commitment to fund that single investment.
