The Chinese Army Has Never Staged a Coup

The Chinese army is not a political faction that works like this. In so far as people get overthrown inside of the party, it's by other people in the party doing factional maneuvering against them. The 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party will take place October 16-18. This is where they choose members of the Politburo and pick new leaders.
