Child Benefit

GPs should be aware of child benefit and self-assessment. You need to tell HMRC that you have claimed child benefit and you will be liable to pay it back. If in case for some reason or any reason you forget or don't do that, this is something these days, HMRC is taking very seriously. It's all about setting up your realistic goals and realistic targets with your local GP.
