Byden said he would bring it up right? Well, it's sudenly clear that they talked respect to the murder of kashogi. For an american president to be silent on an issue of human rights is this consistent with who we are and who i am? I'll always stand up for our values. So what happened with those two issues? There's no reason to think that byden came out of this meeting with very specific, concrete results on either of these.
In the past, President Biden has called Saudi Arabia a “pariah” for its human rights abuses and said that he would never meet with its de facto ruler, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
But Mr. Biden’s first trip as president to the Middle East included talks with the prince. What prompted the change in course?
