The 78 Degrees of Wisdom

The card has had many variations throughout the history of Thoreau. We see it as the Pope card in French and Italian decks, but I really like referring to it as the high priest card. When we kind of look at it at that angle, we really see the opposite of the high priestess which really this is representing. It's really going to be the external manifestation of the intuition that we, you know, kind of rose up within us on our own. And so this is really the outward expression of the high Priestess card.
