The Importance of Priority Objections
I think it seems even more intuitive now, I think probably than it did 10 or 15 years ago when it first appeared on the scene. Part of the reason for that is it's just so much more clear now that progress can be made in providing energy in ways that are not going to be significantly more costly by means of fossil fuels. The progress in renewable technology has just been so enormous that the renewable energy is competitive in most markets with fossil fuel energy. It's not so obvious that there are really any costs associated except for dealing with the sunk costs of the already existing capacity.
