Pippin and Gandalf Return
Pippin and Mary are reunited for the first time since Pippin rode off with Gandalf after his little whoopsie with the Palantir. "I'm glad that I know about them a little, but I don't know why I'm talking like this," he says in one scene. But at least, Pippin, we can now see them and honor them,. Still, there are things deeper and higher. Not a gaffer could tend his garden. Nobody calls peace, but for them, whether he knows about them or not.
