Alex Castellanos: I spoke with Eric on the phone yesterday or two days ago. Every time we talk, he keeps mentioning how much more he enjoys the political philosophers than even his own brethren. You go to political theory and theorists, there's a humanity there that's not found in oddly enough, the actual humanities. So I'm wondering what Eric's next academic piece will look like.
