The Principle of Honesty
Natural selection and the feeback processes work. If if that were a dishonest signal, or signal that it was possible to fake, then some guerillas would evolve to fake them. And so really, almost all signals we find in nature are at least have a basis for honesty. But there's always some gamesmanship.
