Public support for another person is not remotely the same thing as condoning an action of that person. The men you depend on to be capable of stopping a barfight are somewhat embarrassingly, generally, the men who have been in bar fights themselves. Society is actually safer with fewer isolated people. And it is safest when we all have a stake in the world. cancellation, it's about creating people with no stake in life and no way back.
