Shorting a Business Once in a Blue Moon
There is an added issue of shorting, which comes up to what you're talking about. It's very, very hard to short things that are not extremely well known. You can't just discover things that people don't have a lot of the information on. What you find is things that are very well known, but people have a different belief about what's going on than what your belief would be in terms of being negative on it.
