The Story of 2,000 Cows in the Centennial

There's one period, I don't think Sue put that picture, it might be in the picture in the book of horses in the Centennial heading home. There was about 16 or 18 inches of snow blowing in there and the feed wasn't a problem but the water freezes up. So we've watched that but that particular day we sent the guys together, the horse herd up at the main camp at Stottier to get 2,000 cows out from their lake field. We got about a hundred yards from the cattle guard and got stuck, couldn't quite get to the cattle guard so the horses walk up there, they jog up there then four and they jog up like a cattle guard
