God's Image and Immortal Souls

The human person is fundamentally unique amongst all the creatures that god created and fundamentally remarkable. There is a value attendant to the human person that is transcendent and amazing and astonishing and wonderful which we cannot lose sight of when we consider what it means to be a human person. We have capacities for doing things in a way that is far above and beyond any other creature that god has made because we're created with immortal souls. It's exciting as christians who have this hope that this wonderful description of what it Means To Be A Human Person will be restored fully once jesus comes again.
