The Ecological Approach Is Not Doing a Very Good Job at Defining Tactics and Strategy

The South African coach says the ecological approach is not doing a very good job at describing tactics and strategy. He believes there's a better route by developing in practice manipulating constraints to help players make discrete decisions about different types of play. In his sport he has been trying to train batters to make discrete decisions such as fastball, curveball or tap versus defense.
