I Love Throwing Little Bits Into World Building

N and doon is set in our universe, but so many thousands of years later. I love throwing little tid bits into world building a that you don't necessarily explain. It's just something that the characters reference, but it gives you all these little cool things. First off, it makes the world feel lived in. Because people always, in real life, we always mention things that came before. So in the fanny see worlds, if they've just mentioned, oh, the people of such and such, well of a sudden that's an opportunity later that we could go off in that branching direction.
