The History of Bernie Sanders
I'm not the world's greatest fan of Bernie Sanders in terms of his charisma. But he mobilized millions of young people because, you know, he's talking about basic social democratic justice. Just imagine that Barack Obama had been followed by the old Jewish Bernie Sanders who was a deep social democrat. I've lived long enough and I grew up in the American south to know that his becoming president and that black family living in the White House for eight years with an incredible sense of integrity wasn't a major step for progress.
