Should Facebook Be Subjected to Regulation?

It was just an honest technical mistake, albeit a rather large one. But i think it does speak to the kind of culture of suspicion and the way in which any time anything happens with facebook, we start to wonder if it's part of some larger nefarious scheme. The main argument that the whistle blower is making is that facebook is making a deliberate choice to choose profit at the ense of young people, at the expense of society. It also speaks to this ongoing dialogue, this ongoing conversation of, should facebook be subject to regulation? Should there be rules that, you know, governments impose to better protect young people?"
