Driving Around Roundabouts in the United States

The europeans have been using traffic circles in one form or another for far longer, at a much higher percentage of the population than the united states has. The fact is that columbus circle in new york was built in nineteen o five, but for whatever reasons, the roundabout simply didn't become popular in the u.S. But we think they haven't really understood just how beneficial roundabouts can be. Once the drivers use it and actually figure out how to do it proper, their apprehension tends to go away....
