Dr. Gomberg, can you give us a brief overview of some of the practical differences between RV and LV failure? I think it stems from the fact that the right ventricle is not the left ventricle. They're not identical twins. And this is why the LV can handle a pressure overload and the RV is more of a volume overload. Dr. Damacore: Let's jump back to our patient Miss Kay, who is by all evidence showing very low perfusion at the time of her acute decompensation. What are some key tenants of the general management with RV failure or in a low perfusion state?
