It reminds me of that camark supermarket sample vapor wave sound. It also reminds me of steve nick's ege of 17, mashed up with daf punks defuand if you put them both together it's like being lost in purgatory. And so using those sort of muted guitar sounds puts our memory right into that place. I think these are important references, because ege o 17 is just like a super f m radio hit. But then daf Punks, defunck is kind of like a reference of a reference, because daf punker making this style of french house music which is kind of referencing earlier disco and house music stuff.
