Oak: A Worker Placement Game

Oak is one of our favorite worker placement games of the past few years by Wim Kussens at the game brewer, lovely game of druid dress up and druid worker placement. I would like to stress a start off with with my objections to oak. One of the key ways that you score points in oak is by advancing along these branches of the tree and most of them require trade offs. And you in fact discovered a few turns into the game that you had selected to specialize in both arms of a single branch, which is impossible to pursue both. But still it was a neat little game and the cuteness factor is through the roof. That is for Northwood.
