The Proto-Ling Is a Long Distance Assimilation

Vowel harmony is a long distance assimilation. It's not, it's cloth. And that's just the way it is. I'm going to make them pull high vowels down and then have the fringio turn into a plain H which would render that phonemic. Or I could leave the fredio in and make vowel harmony, make it phonemic. But, uh, yeah, assimilation, I think that's totally possible on that.
