Poker is a game of imperfect information and that has enough of a skill element. John Monnoim, who invented game theory, said if you want to understand statistical thinking the way that it works in real life, you need to look at poker. Maybe there are other games that would work as well, but I just personally can vouch for poker in a way that I can't for other games.
