UDP doesn't have the notion of a connection, right? UDP are basically fire and forget packets. So that's kind of the thing that may end up for people at scale. As people come and go in different scenarios, that might be something that you can optimize around. You never actually disconnect, right? Or at least the notion of disconnecting is something that as a server admin, you have some degree of control over.
