The Gundustrop Caldron

The gundustrop caldron was found in south london. It's a lar ge riveted bronze vessel with signs of maintenance over many years. Originally crafted and estimated three thousand years ago. The hook would have been used in ritual feasting, for the purpose of pulling cooked meat from a cauldron. Such tools were also used when workingwith hides and tanning pits and so forth.
