We Are Not Just Partisans We Are Calcified Right

Margaret Hoover: One of the phrases that stood out to me when you're describing kind of where we are as a country is that we are not just partisan we are calcified. She says even big events are not altering people's perceptions of their own partisan identity right they stick with it no matter what. Hoover: The ultimate really challenge of our our time is that no one feels the need to really reevaluate whether what they're doing is okay or popular or successful because all it takes is 1000 votes or 10,000 vote difference to go from Democrats in charge to Republicans in charge.
